As I was mentioning in another thread there are a lot of teams that no longer carry a full back so to have a guy who could be a special teams specialist, situational LB and handle FB duties when needed would be a great spend for a roster slot.
For those of us not in the loop, what has Bobek been up to this past year? I was kind of surprised he participated in the pro day.
I thought I read somewhere that he wasn't running the 40 today.
I saw him on the sidelines last year I'm pretty sure and he looked like a GA or something similar but I don't think he was listed as a coach or GA anywhere
Did anyone happen to catch Trever Ryan's numbers? The cyclone link mentions he participated but there aren't any numbers for him.
Is anyone really talking about KCM's chances? We all know his production was solid for many years. Those numbers look pretty good for a safety. 4.62 40yd, 37" vertical. Right behind Joel in the 3-cone drill. Too short?
Looked back at combine results, wow there are some good athletes out there. Lots of 4.4 times with similar or better strength and jumps.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm sure he would have put up impressive numbers. Hope he still gets a shot in a camp.

There is no doubt in my mind that if Allen had chosen a "bigger" name to play at he would be a 1st or 2nd round pick, 3rd at the latest. Instead we are talking about him maybe being a 2nd or 3rd round pick but still likely going in the 4th. I can't wait for Campbell to get us to a point where our players aren't discounted just because of the name on the jersey.
