I'm surprised Jamie wasn't captured.

Bye-bye Dickon and Dickon's daddy. Should have bent the knee fellas.

The way Jon was petting that dragon, he's a Targ.

Gilly uncovered (though Sam wasnt listening when she said it) that Arys Targ marriage was annulled and he was wed to another. To me this means he married Ned's sister, therefore Jon Snow isn't a bastard.

Capturing an undead and bringing it to Cersi? That's their plan? The scenes where everyone is discussing this in Dragon Stone fell a bit flat.

Gendry is back and looks old af, but a badass with the hammer, just like his daddy.

It was such a stretch that Tyrion went to Kings Landing to meet with Jamie. That's some insanely high-risk behavior.

Cersi pregnant? Maggie the frog never said she'd have more that 3 kids, right? So this baby won't be making it. Also, did I hear her right? She's going to meet with Danny? There's going to be some fireworks and eventual deception there for sure.

Arya sneaking on Little Finger was perfect. The raven scroll talks about the dagger? Someone needs to take LF out and I think it will happen in two episodes (last episode of the season).

Sam finally decides to become the man he knows he can be and figure out how to beat the army of the dead. Very cool, but they'll be looking for him for sure.

The GoT dream team gets assembled. Holy crap, there's some epic fighters in that group. Next week is going to make our hearts race. Look for a Barric and Theros to bite the dust.

Overall. Stuff is happening at a blazing (sorry Dickon) speed, which I'm still getting used to, but appreciate this awesome story feeling like it's coming to a head. An insane concept to even ponder.

I don't think that the scroll Arya read was about the dagger. I think it was when Sansa ratted out Ned to Cersei - and that LF was trying to stir up crap between Sansa and Arya by letting Arya know that Sansa essentially got Ned killed. It talked about Robert getting killed on a boarhunt and then plotting to overthrow the Lannisters, from what we could see.

The pregnancy sort of kills Jaime's redemption, unless it's all a ploy and he finds out.

The group watching out into the North, while a big group of idiots, were amazing. I also think that Beric and Thoros don't make it back, but the others do. Jorah has to be the one to tell Dany what he saw and make her believe it, she'll believe anything he says. But I do think he dies by the end of the series - there's no way he lives unrequited for Dany and watches her (presumably) marry Jon and live into old age.

The note reads:

Robb, I write to you with a heavy heart. Our good king Robert is dead, killed from wounds he took in a boar hunt. Father has been charged with treason. He conspired with Robert’s brothers against my beloved Joffrey and tried to steal his throne. The Lannisters are treating me very well and provide me with every comfort. I beg you: come to King’s Landing, swear fealty to King Joffrey and prevent any strife between the great houses of Lannister and Stark.

Your faithful sister,
Sansa

I don't know how I feel about that. Jorah beating greyscale just to go and die North of the Wall doesn't really make sense to the narrative, but his death would be a bit more "realistic" (for lack of a better term). Plus, Tyrion gave him that coin which kind of sets up that Jorah will be back because he kept his promise to both Tyrion (with the coin) and Dany (with a wight or some kind of proof of the white walkers). I suppose the twist could be that Jorah dies beyond the wall and they bring his body to Dragonstone where he becomes a wight.

Tormund is 100% gone for sure. I don't see how he makes it out of that group. Beric 2nd most likely, followed by Thoros. The Hound has to make it for Cleganebowl.

Considering Beric is dead in the books, to me he's the #1 most likely to die (other than the red shirt BwoB and Wildings coming with them), with Thoros as #2 most likely to die. I think the BwoB arc will be ending.

AH, thank you. That's awesome. I'd seen the "your faithful sister" part and we'd read about stealing the throne, but couldn't see to whom it was addressed. THANKS!

My gut says this. I feel it was Cersei trying to inspire Jamie to keep fighting. She thinks their time on earth is short enough that he won't find out. Like she said in the episode she wants to "go out fighting" and this is her way of convincing Jamie.

The prophesy did say Cersei would have three children. I suppose lying to Jaime about another to get him to do more awful crap might be what inspires him to strangle her. Or else the child dies. I was hopeful it meant Cersei doesn't have another nine months left.

So is Cersei going to have Bronn killed? Perhaps by The Mountain? It sounds like he's on borrowed time.

Also, that scene with Cersei and Jaime was straight up Godfather 2.

Was I the only one who thought it was strange that there was such a gap between Tommen and this pregnancy? I mean, they've been humping all over the seven kingdoms - what are the odds she avoided pregnancy before now?

Sansa was just a child being manipulated by 3 master manipulators. To blame her for Ned's death is insane. It was Joffrey and Little Fingers doing 1000%
Even Cersei planned to spare his life and send him to the Nights Watch.

I assumed maybe there was something medically wrong with her, or she had done something to not have any more children because of her vanity, although we aren't talking about a medically advanced society. Maybe Qyburn cooked something up for her.

Edit: That's right, Janny remembers Moon Tea.

I don't recall Moon Tea - my thought when she told Jaime was "riiiiiiiiight - after all this time you're pregnant". I guess I thought from the get-go that she was lying about it.

Second thought - did Jaime know she was apparently using something to prevent pregnancy? Why does HE accept the pregnancy straight away? He's shown some signs that he is aware of how manipulative his sister is...

I've always despised her for it but that may be a more book reader thing. They certainly made her more sympathetic in the show, with her story line being quite different. Her book perspective chapters were pretty painful, as were Dany's.

I can't remember, did the show discuss Moon Tea with Margaery? It is a thing in the books anyway.

Jamie wasn't captured because he is Michael Phelp's great great great grandfather.

Dickon's dad Randyll faught for Dany's dad during previous wars but the show left that out. (Read this on Reddit)

Jon is definitely Targ.

Gilly uncovered Rhaegar's marriage annulment, not Arys. She mispronounced his name "Raggar" and even said in subtitles*. (*per Reddit again)

The capture of an undead is Tyrion's plan and everyone went for it again even though he just failed miserably like two episodes ago.

Gendry looks swoll after all that rowing. Jimlad.

Tyrion would never make it anywhere in Kings Landing. Everyone in the world knows who he is.

Cersei won't have the kid due to prophecy. Is she just lying to buy Jamie's loyalty?

Scroll talks about Sansa's letter to Robb about Robb should bend the knee to Joffrey.

Sam is now the leader of a great house but the show will probably never talk about it.

Beric will die but save someone like he does in the books.
