Maybe Baylor is still ahead of us, but we are going to be pretty good. I expect 7 wins this season.

Woah nelly.

I'm realistically sticking to 4-6. With my money on 5.

For discussion sake, kindly name the wins. I've got ... UNI, Akron, Ku, Tech and TCU, with BU being a stretch to six.
UNI
Iowa
Akron
KU
Tech
TCU
Either Baylor or WVU. Both very beatable, but both on the road so I'm calling for a split.

BU is a stretch but Iowa is not possible? Why can't we beat Iowa in Ames this season?

To be frank, I had intended to make it BU/Iowa and didn't.
The last three times ISU has lost to a ranked UI team in IC they've won the game in Ames the next season. Beating UI is a perfectly rational pick.

I agree. I think the path to a bowl is this exactly. But it does make you wonder if a 3-0 start could push us to seven wins.

UNI, IA, Akron, KU, Tech, WV/Tx, KSU/TCU. That makes 5 wins and 2 more maybes. Maybe this yr we'll beat the Wizard. In all reality I'm hoping for between 4-6 wins.

I think we pound EIU in Ames this year. They lost a lot and are attempting to put in a new offense. We are returning a lot and are in year 2 of a really good coach's program

They lost a few good players, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

? They went 8-5, looked good in some games awful in others, got pounded in their bowl game, lost some good players and have an untested QB. We're playing at Jack Trice.
Kinda think it's OK to expect to win?

I predict we'll beat Iowa as well, but usually when we win it's a close down-to-the-wire game. It'll be the same way this year.
