That's fine to expect to win. I don't think we will "pound them," as their OL will control the tempo of the game.

I'm not saying this ESPN writer is wrong, I just don't put any stock into what he says since he doesn't even know ISU's starting QB's last name.

If this comes true you'll be poster of the year and it's not even close.

    I'll endorse it.

Are there campaigns for these types of things?

I don't think 1976 is too far off. Maybe I'm drinking the Kool-Aid, too, but I think 7 wins isn't a long-shot. The way I see it right now is that we at least have a pretty good shot at a bowl game this year.

    UNI (Gimme this year)
Akron (Another gimme, may not be a blowout on the road but shouldn't have much doubt)
Texas/Iowa (both at Jack Trice, Texas has a new coach, Iowa is rivalry)
KU (Not as easy this year)
Tech (May be the worst Big 12 team)
TCU/WVU/OSU (TCU is the weakeast out of a tough three game stretch, but could get a lucky upset)
BU/KSU (I don't think BU will be anything like what they have been on offense, we usually play a tough Farmageddon game, maybe we beat Snyder? Might be tough this year)

That would be 7 wins. Yeah, not likely, but it will be an interesting year.

Well I'll be disappointed if we don't win 6-7 games this year, but I'm expecting to be disappointed.

No reason we can't make a 6th place conference finish our goal. I think those bottom half teams will beat each other up--even KU winning a couple. Hopefully we can find 4 conference wins but I'm not going to hold my breath. Best chances are Tech, KU, TCU, and ..... Idk

This will be easier after week 1. We will see what Park looks like after an off season of being the #1 guy. And how the defense is coming together.

I do not think the Big12 is that good again this year and this is year ISU gets 8 wins, maybe 9. They have been in a lot of games last year and i think Campbell will get them to believe it can happen.

The reason the conference may not look good again in your eyes is because ISU should be better again. Not confident a Tech or Baylor fan would write that.

ISU hasnt won over 3 games in 4 years, for the sake of your sanity you should probably lower your expectations just a hair.

They weren't that much better than us last year. We choked that game away at the end. I think we have a great shot at them no matter where we play.

Texas will be far more interesting to watch than Baylor. Herman is another of the 'can't miss' coaching hires, like Charlie Strong and Shaka Smart.

BU hired a no-nonsense coach in a 180 move to rid themselves of Art. I expect the Bears to be a middle of the road 5th place team. But I have no clue with the Horns. That place is so unpredictable.

Iowa State has to win 5 games this year to keep the momentum the staff has going with recruiting and energy/excitement around the program. I think we will win 5 for sure and anything after that I can't predict. Love the offense we are putting on the field this year.
