Need a Grey and Gold helmet next year and I'd be happy. I wonder if Grey/Grey/Gold would almost be to Iowa-ish?

I'll probably release the results (with some analysis, that is the fun part of me) either tonight or tomorrow night, given Tuesday and Wednesday are not big sports nights.

I like the varsity stripes on the jersey. I would love to see white added the striping and either white numbers on the cardinal jersey or at least white trim on the numbers. When we talk gold, we are talking the color on the white helmet which is different from the Green Bay yellow that Criner brought to ISU and Walden also used. Many will want an entirely different look and I get that also. Personally, I don't like it when the sleeves are not the same color as the jersey like Toledo or even Baylor's whites but to each their own.

If there's a gray helmet, I think it'd be most effective as Gr/C/Gr and Gr/W/Gr. All-gray is too much and would somehow swallow/overshadow the cardinal & gold.
(Used "Gr" to denote gray. "G" is for Gold)
I like the gray alternates, but gray should not be mixed with other colors, IMO. Should be its own thing.
Other than that, I pretty much like all of the other combos, except I think the red mask should be permanent.

Not sure I follow you... white is added to the striping, and note the white numbers on red (posts #62-64). How exactly would you like to see it differently, suggestion?
Iowa doesn't wear grey and their pants are piss yellow. I think Grey Gray Grey would work.
Outsider comment, those ^^^ were terrible. ISU's colors are not grey or gray. The best were your UT game unies.

why does K state wear silver? If we can only wear school colors; K state should only wear royal purple. I don't see any silver in their school colors? You see arguments like that are dumb.
Recruits like flash, it's one reason Oregon is voted the best uniforms by them. Oregon when wore blue and gold vs Washington which is very close to what the huskies wear. I think we should stick with cardinal and gold. Grey is cool from time to time though. especially with the whole storm cloud meaning behind it.

It's not like we do yellow pants every game, or any other color. Personally I loved the TX look, AND you can't talke away the yellow pants nor our classic look, which for home is either r/r/y, or y/r/y.
If you look at this past year, pants alone, we had:
yellow 3x
white 3x
red 3x
gray 3x.
Pretty good balance, I'd say. You take yellow away, people would -itch about having too much white, red, gray. You can't please everyone.
I think what I am hearing from a lot of us, is that we are tired of the constant red/yellow (ketchup/mustard) look we have had in the past. Well now we have some variety.
And we should not be ashamed of our red/yellow, they are good colors. We now have a Coach who is mixing it up. I'm cool w/ that, and I think think the players like it.
All gray
would be our worst gray alternate look, IMO, but I'd be OK w/ it on occasion. Here's a few gray combos I like.
