He truly seems to understand the role of a head coach (or any leader, for that matter). His job is to do whatever he can to make his players, staff, support team, and institution successful. I really like that he takes the approach of building men of character who happen to play football. Success in anything is about way more than the skill to do that particular thing.

You could probably take this manual and apply it to most companies and the same approach would work. Though, I don't think the IT department would appreciate wind sprints after a botched line of code...

Great article and great concept. I like how he addresses a conduct code for on and off the field. Great expectations are required to make a great team and every aspect of the players lives is a factor in the success of a football program.
