If Iowa had won a National Title against this schedule would you honor it the same way?

The Iowa Hawkeyes(8-4-1) beat Michigan that year 26-0. The same Michigan(6-6) that lost by 7 to the 'National Champion" BYU Cougars.

These rankings were only based on AP poll rankings since the beginning of the poll. It's not subjective. The fact is that ISU has sucked pretty much since the beginning of time. It's sobering to see exactly how sucky our beloved Clones have been. Having only been ranked for 40 total weeks in 80 years. If it wasn't for the early 2000's we probably wouldn't have even made the top 100. I hate Iowa as much as the next guy but the fact is they deserve their 25th place ranking in this poll. I sure hope Matt Campbell can get us to the point where we are consistently ranked and we can begin to move up this list.

So DON'T pay attention to the OP article then?
No no no.... You can, but please take it with a grain of salt. Obviously Iowa has an even more prestigious football program than the AP just gave them credit for, even though they did rank us so high in the first place (who could blame them?).
