PEople complain about hiring someone of faith, does only atheists have a chance to have a winning program, guessing that there are more Christian HCs than atheist HCs. So what difference does that make? People have a tendency to surround, or hire, people similar to them, so what do you suspect.
Cycloneerikhawk.....you mad bro? Lol
I am told Toledo is prepared to make Iowa State target Matt Campbell the highest paid coach in the MAC.
Nobody is complaining about hiring people that feel strongly about their religion. The comments were that it isn't appropriate for a state school to only consider candidates who feel strongly about their religion.

FYI, PJ Fleck at WMU is currently the highest-paid MAC coach at $800k a year. Iowa State can easily beat Toledo's best offer without breaking a sweat.
One more comment about religion in this thread, or others on coaching, equals an automatic 14 day ban, end of story. No exceptions, even for "jokes".
That's still not much money. I'm not worried about being outbid by Toledo, but rather a school like Mizzou.Ryan Autullo @AutulloAAS I am told Toledo is prepared to make Iowa State target Matt Campbell the highest paid coach in the MAC.
Ban this man.
Ah the reason for the leak. It might not matter. If we can offer more. If Campbell wants to stay a few more years and wait for a "better" position there is the path.FYI, PJ Fleck at WMU is currently the highest-paid MAC coach at $800k a year.
