Pretty clear this will be the end for CPR, too bad really. I always liked him and I thought 2011 Okie State was the turning point. But alas . . .

I don't follow the rest of CFB enough to know who the upcoming coaches are - any thoughts?

Young and someone who wants to make a name for himself. We can't do any worse, from a record standpoint. I was a CPR believer, but it's time.

Somebody with o-line experience. Matt Campbell from Toledo may very well be considered. And he'd more than likely keep Ayeni, who would be the most likely coach to be retained.

You may be onto something here...not that he would be a game-changer but if there is one coach to retain, it would be Ayeni. And Campbell can beat multiple FBS programs in the same season, so he's just like Rhoads!

The problem is there are going to be maybe a record number of better job openings that are better than ISU.

By the time season ticket sales numbers are out, it will be too late. ISU will win one more game than last year and cpr will talk about how proud he is.
