Look, there is nothing positive or fun about this...

I really think Paul loves Iowa and Iowa State. We had high hopes he was going to be a winner in Ames...that seems to have died with Chiz's recruits.

The reality is 'hope' is going to be a tough sell going forward. Filling up the new, expanded Jack Trice is going to be tough going forward.

We should have been on the JUCO wagon long before now. The reality is finding, identifying, choosing the right HS kid that will develop into good D1 player is tough when you're picking from 2 & 3 star talent. Injuries, attitude, dedication, development are almost impossible to predict in 18 year old kids

I haven't seen that face since I was out @Boulder for the big ISU tailgate before the 2008 ISU-CU game. In the throws of Chizik season 2...which was disastrous. And before a game we p#ssed down out legs

I was next to Jamie for awhile that day and he had the same dismayed look.....

I saw that look at the end of Chizik's first game. Chizik was the sought after candidate at the time and looked very good on paper. I do not blame JP, but that look is tough.
