Lack of crowd noise?

I would like to know when an opposing team is backed up to the end zone why our fans our so quite? The QB should not be able to hear himself think. This also happens when the team gets down, the fans just become quite, that is when they need our support! If you go to a game at Hilton, the fans know when the team needs our support and the fans are ready to help them thru that time. I know it is easier when you are winning, but it just frustrating.

Crowd mentality. Everyone feeds off of the product on the field. We're all emotionally broken. Just look at our boards after we lose. You'd think we could lose well by now. jimlad(I think?)

The past two seasons have left a mark. How many comebacks have we had outside the UNI game in the past three years? Toledo?

What good does it do. We have all saw the same thing over and over and over and over as Cyclone fans. ISU gets the team pinned back and its 3rd and 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 whatever, the crowd get loud, and the offense gets a first down. We all know what is coming next in those situations.

The fans would cheer if there was something good going on, on the field, something to get the fans excited. Instead its the same old stuff over and over again. You cannot blame the fans for not being loud. This fan base has done plenty to support this program over the last 10 years. Yet the product on the field just keeps getting worse.

To add to this, why are the new end zone stands a mile from the actual field? It looks really weird on TV and I'm sure it doesn't keep the noise in well at all when the opposition is down there.

If anyone should be absolved from blame, it should be the fans. How much noise do you think KU fans make in their stadium. Because that is the attendance we should have. The fact that we can pull 61k after two horrid seasons is amazing.

ISU decided that they didn't want to tear down the entire stadium to change the angle of the bowl so the end zone seats could be closer to the field. If only the Reimans had a couple 100 more million for us.
