If you want details, my father died when I was a sophomore and I took some time off while staying in Ames and was just a part time student. After that I switched majors about 5 times. Two of which were in different colleges and I needed to pick up a few more requirements. Oh and I also worked 45 hours a week every year so I never really took much more than 12-15 credits. But thanks for thinking I'm a slow learner based off of just 5.5.

i wouldn't say ames cops are the worst. I had good relationships with a number of them since I was a bar employee and they cut me a lot of slack. There are a few that can go on power trips, but for the most part they are just doing their jobs.

To be expected. We had two DUI's last spring. The temptation to turn it up a notch during the first couple of nice weekends is a big one, regardless if it is V-Week or not.

They do arrest people around the tailgate lots that are acting like idiots. Obviously there are some that don't get arrested because there's just too many people to watch. Now if people start flipping cars, starting fires and vandalizing public property you'll see some big changes to the tailgating lots.
