Just tried this out for the first time in a class. The Matrix will soon be a reality. Haha. I have mixed feelings about it. Have any of you tried one out and have any thoughts on it?

I haven't tried one but I'm building a PC with the hopes that it has enough power to run it. It's going to be som much about the video card. I do have google cardboard which is completely different but a pretty cool demo for what you can do with just a phone.
I tried a rollercoaster demo and thought it was a gimmick.
Then I tried a pre-alpha game my friend is developing and knew it was the future.
VR is going to be absolutely amazing and come with a big stigma at first, but slowly it will be adopted. I'm convinced.

Yeah, doesn't it essentially render 2 frames where a regular monitor would render 1?
