There's a giant chip on our guy's shoulders. I'd say this one is more important, to everyone in the locker room, than any other game this year.

I've read a few things on Kansas's forum, and they are saying that they should have Oubre guard Niang. If they watched the game in Ames. Oubre couldn't even guard BDJ on the block. That would be a mistake if you ask me.

I just can't read anything from Sean Keeler, even though he's from Iowa (Sioux City, in particular), he's such a Jayhawk homer, it makes me puke, blah!

Interesting. Please try that. I highly doubt Oubre has guarded anyone with Georges' post offense.

I think they realize that they really don't have the right post player to guard him, so they want Oubre plus 3 other guards out there so Niang has to guard Oubre when they're on offense. I don't think self would ever do this, he's not gunna start playing matchups, especially against Fred and Iowa St.

this isn't little league, Niang would guard someone else if that was the case.

Last time they took out Motorless Alexander and went with Perry and his four gay blades.

How does this work? To put Oubre on Niang they'd have to go really small, right? Feel like they'd be playing right into our hands this way. Oubre would have to be their 4 and we could still put McKay on their 5. They'd basically be trying to play our game without the personnel to do it as well. Then again this is just message board chatter and Bill Self knows what he is doing.

After reading the Keeler article, I really hope KU thinks that the only reason they lost was due to lack of effort.

I read those posts. They were in response to Alexander being unable to handle Niang on the perimeter. They felt Oubre could handle Niang better on the perimeter, which is true. Of course they completely ignored the fact Georges would own him posting up. Whatever, Kansas fans know everything...just ask Tuco.

The bank shot 3 pointer that went in a couple of years ago is not the main reason KU got that game to overtime. The main reason is the officials helped KU get back in it, in the last 5 minutes they called everything on ISU and didn't call anything on KU. Everyone remembers how bad we got screwed at Hilton that year, but no one talks about how the refs called the game at KU down the stretch that same year. The banked 3 pointer kind of hides that.

I watched multiple college TV games after our Kansas win, and heard several times how KU turned things around after our win. Only reason we won was due to KU players getting beat in transition. Guys benched because of it, etc. Needless to say, KU believes that and is determined to show us who's boss in the league. Transition won't be the deciding factor, imo, if we can pull off the win. Hope we can bring our "A"game. Go Clones!
