ok Sheldon Cooper it's just most kids wait until their senior year to commit.
Most players wait until they've received all offers they're going to receive/their dream school offers them. It's simple. I'm guessing he's a Hawkeye lifer and they offered so he committed.

We'll see if he stays committed if some big time offers start to roll in. Pierschbacher was also a verbal and a hawkeye lifer

He has other offers. He moved out of his moms home in Wisc. to live with his dad. He wanted to be a HAWK a long time. Great KID

His rivals profile shows Iowa, Wisconsin, Utah, and Virginia. Are there others he has that aren't listed? Not trying to be a ****, I'm just curious if a school like Bama or LSU offered if he would flip like Ross did. Congrats on the get, looks like a solid player

I read he's also got an offer from Tennessee, and Alabama had coaches at the Dome to see him play, too.

Looks like this Harris fellow already moved on from Iowa per the DMR.

Everything I've heard says this will be a roller coaster ride. He's alre committed and decomitted twice and he's a sophomore in HS. Told several tales on Twitter about being related to Tommy Harris, former Bear. I think T Harris himself disputed that.

Sounds like a good one to pursue for our program. We need help. No OWIs wanted.:twitcy:

Honestly his hudl highlight tape on that link isn't that impressive especially against small high school teams. He could definitely lose some weight and work on his speed and pad level

Evidently re-commited over the weekend. Said there was a disagreement with his parents, but everyone on board now:

Feels great to be back at home #hawkeye

Would guess it's not over yet, though. He's a young kid getting a lot of attention, but may want to stay away from Twitter for a year or two...
