Congrats on your 14th post. ALL in this thread. All negative towards CPR. And ALL posted since yesterday at 10:05 am. 14 posts in less than 32 hours. So tell us how much you are suffering and have suffered with CPR as our Coach.

I don't see your point. Anyway, thanks for the stats and for reading some of my posts. I guess I found what I thought was a useful site with some like minded folks to discuss Cyclone football. Am I in the right place?

Having said that, I'm not sure all of my posts have been negative about CPR. In fact, many of the last few have been spent wasting my time with individuals who feel they are more knowledgable due to either having more money or more internet posts.

The fact is, I haven't suffered at all. I just happen to appreciate good football and haven't seen it in years. And as much as I think CPR is a good guy, I don't personally feel he's going to do what all of us would like...an that is consistently put a quality product on the field.

Is there anything else you need Stormin or are you just going to try and babble your way out of your poor logic. Or do I need to run all my posts by you for a certain amount of time?

I'll throw my 2 cents in... not that it matters.

We should wait and see how this season unfolds. I'm a bit down on Rhoads at the moment.

That said... I have never in my life been more ****** with an ISU football coach then I was after the Mizzou ot loss and the loss at KU the next year. Both took us out of the B12 title game. Seriously... complete weak schedules (neither had OU or Texas on them) and we ****** wins down our legs. That is actually true for our vaunted 2000 9 win season as well. WE PLAYED TWO RANKED TEAMS ALL YEAR and got smoked by them both.

I'm advocating that we chill till the season is over and go from there.

LOL. You are the one interpreting that Erik meant other than what he obviously posted. You do NOT make a statement to a fan base if you are the AD that we have the wrong man for the job but we are going to keep this wrong guy because the AD gave him a very long contract extension.

What you do is to STFU if you plan on really doing NOTHING. Because you are going to do nothing. You do NOT go around posting the stuff you are posting if you plan on doing nothing. At least you can be consistent and say that you want to see what happens and how this year and next year play out without all the negativity. Especially when you will obviously backpedal if he is successful.

Go home, you're drunk.

I'd buy that if Fred got into his 3 NCAA tourneys on .500 records, or if over half the teams made the NCAA tourney.

While that is true, the fact remains that we have made a bowl game about as many times as we have the NCAA tournament. That speaks to how difficult it is has been for our team historically to make a bowl game. How does Rhoads performance compare to our history? Is he over-performing, under-performing, or about average for ISU?

You joined last April. Never discussed Cyclone football on this board until yesterday around 10 am. After we get beat by NDSU. Smells like a troll.

We average 40 per cent wins over our history. CPR is 27-37 or slightly above average. If the season goes south, he goes below average in four more games.

He only has to win 3 games this year to still beat that percentage.

Umm you are dumb. I witnessed Chiefs fans complain enough about their GM that he stepped down. No ******* way that happens if Chiefs fans didn't heavily voice their displeasure.

Generally when calling someone dumb, it's advisable to quote the person, so as to indicate whom is the dumb one. And so you don't look dumb.

Also I like that people say we get outmuscled now. CPR inherited 12 players who could squat 500 pounds, now he has over 50.

I also like that people say they want us to be more competitive, Dan and Chiz got blown out a hell of a lot more, and they had a hell of a lot easier schedules. We won three games last year, and lost five by 7 or less... How is that not being competitive?

Or you could use your head and know that if you didn't say fans shouldn't voice their displeasure, it wasn't directed towards you.

Have fun with soccer, the real men will be watching our alma mater

So he's not a real man for being a good dad and going to his daughters soccer game? Get real for once and stop bashing people who don't agree with you. I guess he should be a real man and put a lousy football team in front of his family.

If people keep buying tickets and supporting the program, he's not going to go anywhere. I know people don't want to do that but it could be a necessary evil.

Ya **** that I'm still spending money to go watch ISU.

DMac was in his 9th year when we had a winless conference record.

Wow you're obsessed with Mac. I'm not a Mac fan but you'll also notice that in year 6, 7, and 8 ISU had a winning record. Then again in the 10th and 11th year.

I'm hoping year 6 is the magic year for ISU coaches but it's not starting out too strong.

Playing 2 ranked teams in a season certainly helps. Easy schedule. And Mac was the most successful coach we had of our previous 4 coaches anyway.

Just saying that we need to let this play out and stop with the negativity. Mac was given great latitude with crappy records as have all of our other coaches. Rhoads had a 3 win season last year and things have started badly this year. This schedule is pretty tough in the early going and we have a very young team.

Rhoads seat is getting warmer. Another 3 win or less season and it will get hot. 2015 will be the season that is make or break.

Are you sure you just don't find me attractive? I mean, you've been following my posts, you know my stats...maybe you're simply a stalker?

Stormin...I know your type. You feel that by posting 27k times, you have clout and privilege and like to flex on occasion because somehow you know more than everyone. So maybe, if you pick on the new guy, he'll go away.

I'm sorry I don't meet your criteria for having a voice, which seems to be based on a number of odd parameters.

Why don't you quit dry humping my leg and say something that people might be interested in. I'm not hijacking this thread any longer to debate with a dolt.

Do you think it was a coincidence we were only good when the Big 12 North was down and we had an extremely soft schedule? In McCarney's awful years (2003, 2006) we played both Texas and Oklahoma. In 2003, we played 5 ranked teams and finished 2-10 (0-8). In 2006, we played 4 ranked teams and finished 4-8 (1-7). In 2004, we played 2 ranked teams (one was Iowa, no OU/Texas) and finished 7-5 (4-4). And in 2005, we played 2 ranked teams (one was Iowa, no OU/Texas) and finished 7-5 (4-4).

Sure, I'd love to go back to winning 7 games each year but I highly doubt McCarney would have ever done so with OU and Texas and a 9th conference game on the schedule each year. We need to compare apples to apples here.
