Drafted last night, have the following:

QB: Cutler
RB: Forte
RB: Giovanni Bernard
WR: Julio Jones
WR: TY Hilton
WR: Eric Decker
TE: Gronk
D/ST: Eagles
K: Hacuska

For WR, I have Julian Edelman on my bench and I also picked up Brandon Cooks who I think will be very good for the Saints. I also have Andy Dalton to backup Cutler, and they really are interchangeable.

I like my team, but basing my season on Cutler, and the health of Julio Jones and Gronk, seems a bit dangerous for me. In fact, as I look at it I may have valued "high injury potential" a little too highly in my draft.

Guy in our league sent me a trade offer this morning. He would trade me Kaepernick and Demaryious Thomas and I would send Cutler and Jeffrey. I don't like Kaepernick at all, but the thoughat of having Charles and Thomas are nice. My other QB is Eli. Thoughts.

I would do that trade in a heartbeat. Kap will have a much better year this year. He was playing hurt a lot of last year. If you're down on Kap, then Kap and Cutler are basically a wash. Then the trade is Thomas for Jeffrey? Take Thomas all day long.

I know this gets said every year, but I think Cutler is set up for a big year. Second year with Trestman, so many weapons with Forte, Marshall and Jeffrey.

It looks pretty fair to me. I think Cutler is being overrated as a QB because he has two top fantasy WRs and a top fantasy RB, but he doesn't actually chuck it around that much. Allmost all his targets go to those 3 guys with a few to Bennett. The other owner is probably freaking out about the 49ers preseason, so there's probably a chance to take advantage of him or her.

If you consider Cutler's upside to be his per game stats from last year over the full season, he's not much better than Kaepernick was last year.

Off the grid
QB - C. Newton
WR - R. White
WR - A. Johnson
RB - L. McCoy
RB - R. Bush
TE - V. Davis
W/T - P. Garcon
W/R/T - S. Jackson
Def - New England

BN - L. Miller RB
BN - A. Rodgers - QB
BN T. Smith - WR
BN D. Woodhead RB
BN R. Wayne - WR
BN D. Pitta - TE

Who do I start at QB? Newton against TB or Rodgers against Seattle? I know Newton has a cracked rib but Seattle's defense is tough.

Also, Any suggestions on my WR line up? It's not a PPR league.

Start Newton over Rodgers this week. The three WRs you have in your lineup should stay there.

Can you give me a round by round breakdown of your picks? I have to know how one can get Cam Newton, Aaron Rogers, McCoy, Roddy White and Andre Johnson on the same team.

12 team league.... feel pretty good about it. Probably could have used another TE on the bench- not much was available- Maybe one more WR too....

QB: N Foles
RB: L McCoy
RB: A Foster
WR: A Brown
WR: P Harvin
WR: E Decker
TE: J Whitten
K: M Crosby
D/ST: Chiefs

BN: S Watkins
BN: K Moreno
BN: D Woodhead
BN: J White
BN: J Hill
BN: R Tannehill

If you're worried about your TE depth you could drop Moreno and grab a guy like Travis Kelce.

We had a auction style draft this year. So each person got "$200" to buy players. Someone nominates a player and then everyone starts bidding. What happened is that a lot of players blew their money up front on certain players. Like Manning went for like $60 or something. Anyway, i got McCoy for like $53, Rodgers for $45ish and then just took my time on the rest. i spent more on my RBs and QB and let them spend big money on WRs. I was then able to get some of the 2nd and 3rd tier WRs for cheap.

You think so? I currently have him on my bench behind flex options Chris Johnson, R. Randle, & Maclin. I'm just worried about the other 2 backs in New Orleans. Suppose with Sproles gone there'll be more touches for him.

The Saints run game could go so many ways this year. Pierre Thomas, Mark Ingram, and Khiry Robinson (the pride of West Texas A&M!) could all see the field. Time share galore. Most likely a "feed the hot hand" situation. Never know who that could be week by week.

Player A: 65 catches, 788 yards, 12 TDs.
Player B: 65 catches, 759 yards, 5 TDs.

Fairly comparable except the touchdowns. One is drafted fairly early, one may not be drafted at all.

Player A is Julius Thomas, Player B is Martellus Bennett. Bennett could be a sneaky weapon in fantasy this year. Finished 10th TE in points last year.

Your entire team is full of starters except Woodhead. How the heck did you pull this off?

I'd go with Rodgers. I just think he's in line for a huge season with a quality RB behind him, and if the NFL continues to emphasize defensive holding and pass interference then the Legion of Boom is in for a disappointing night.

More I thought about it the more i thought I would wait until Whitten's buy week. There isnt a lot available for TE's so I will just pick one up that week and drop my least productive bench RB and hope for the best. Maybe I will have some trade bait with one or more of the bench RB's.

I like Bennett. He's suspended for game one though right?
If you can grab him cheap as a second TE he could be a steal. If I wait on TE till later I try to grab him as a backup so I have two viable starters.

It doesn't seem too crazy to me. It may be a really good league because guys like Garcon and Vernon Davis are dropping.

Something like this maybe:
1-McCoy
20-Rodgers
21-White
40-Bush
41-Johnson
59-Newton
