Re: Media Poll

Re: Media Poll

It appears the middle of the conference will be very competive and close. Only 80 points separated the 3rd place pick from the 7th place pick. Teams that do not strap it on every Saturday are predicted to get a big L.

What jumps out from this chart is the consistently higher than expected finishes by Kansas State and Baylor. This year they are picked 3rd and 2nd respectively. Oklahoma, fresh off their thrashng of Alabama, and a season of proof by Mike Stoops that sometimes you CAN go home and recapture the magic, is the solid #1 favorite. Given that, which of these teams has the best shot to continue defying expectations this season?

That's not an accident. Surly is indeed a troll and he only post information that one ups ISU. When pressed he resorts to insults just like any other troll.

Thank you surly. I hadn't seen this.

Pollsters are about as accurate as recruiting rank'sters. It's always best to go back and check their goods after the fact. Golf channel's Brandel Chamblee had Adam Scott, Henrick Stenson, and Dustin Johnson as the top 3 at The British Open. Bookies had it - Justin Rose, Scott, and Stenson. It's why we play the games. No one really knows until then. It's only a given that name programs often get pub beyond their means.
