I went to ISU and am as big of an advocate for our school as anyone, but I'm sorry, I've got to pull the BS card on that one.

I was down there for St Pattys day a few years ago and I remember trying to explain what a tornado siren was to our waitress (there were a few off the coast that evening). I dont remember much but I remember her asking me why anyone would live where that would be necessary.

I lived in Richmond, VA and near the NC coast. I would take a tornado over hurricane any day! Hurricanes are awful and unrelenting for hour after hour! So don't let those bubbas diss the Midwest!

I remember when this came up last year. Apparently their rankings arnt based on any measure student health statistics. They went by the availability of fitness facilities in relation to the student population, as well as money spent on health and wellness programs. Not a perfect method by any means.
