Stupid thread I know, but wife and I laid all our shoes out over the weekend to find the odd men out... I had 45 pair while my wife had nearly 60... Didn't include rollerblades, ski boots nor slippers (NOR flippers) but everything else.
To be fair to the OP, I went to HS with a kid that wore a different pair of shoes every day for school his senior year. He had at least 150 pairs of shoes. And no job. But a rich daddy.
2 pair flip flops
1 pair target Vans knock offs
1 pair dress casual everyday shoes
1 pair dress shoes for work
1 pair tennis shoes for working out
1 pair old tennis shoes for yard work
1 pair cleats for various rec league stuff
1 pair hiking boots
1 pair wrestling shoes
1 pair of those 5 finger atrocities
11 pairs of shoes. That's more than I expected. Though in my defense other than the flip flops I don't own more than 1 pair of any of the same kind of shoe.
Not your average female here. I may have 8 pair (three of which have holes in the toes because they're broken in & comfortable and I refuse to throw them away...)
