I can't help but notice the lack f isu fouls. Makes me think they will play tighter defense and give up more fouls.

Just like a lot of our 1st halves, we can't play much worse and the opposition couldn't play much better.

Hopefully the 2nd half is a lot like a lot of our 2nd halves where they cool down, we heat up, and then down the stretch we our clutch and pull it out.

Niang would really help in this game though. He'd be a matchup nightmare for some of these UConn bigs.

ejim hasn't been good at finishing around the rim at all this year

UConn likes to play basketbrawl. They got called for a bunch of fouls and should have been called for at least 4-6 more. Getting away with tons of pushing and handchecks. Way different style than any Big 12 team and that's showing through.

We need to slow down and play smart ball. We are letting UCONN control everything we do. Im positive Hoiberg and Doc will get something figured out to slow down UCONN and get Ejim going. This team thrives when they are down. Lets watch them go to work.

P.S. UCONN cant keep up this shooting pace, so hopefully we have that going for us.

Our defense was pretty good. They just couldn't miss even with hands in their face.
