Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Saturday

To all you saying the predictors on crystal ball don't know anything: You do realize that it's their job to find out things like this. They have more connections than all of us combined. I'm not saying they will get it right, but you're in complete denial if you think these guys switching their picks to UNLV, especially this late, is not a sign that they know something.

Go back and check the Andrew Wiggins predictions and get back to me.
FSU and Kentucky were heavy favorites. Virtually ever person was predicting FSU right up until the end, I mean late the night before the announcement FSU.

Jerry Meyer had Kansas and switched to FSU a couple of days before the announcment.
Most of them had Kansas and switched to FSU last minute.

And do you know why, because somebody "in the know" tweeted something they all jumped on.OOPS..

The reason they all picked ISU earlier in the week, was because of the timing after an emotional win, they figured it pushed him to ISU's side. That has as much credibility as some tweet by someone who is allegedly in the know. For him to announce his decision right after that game, it too much of a coincidence.

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Saturday

They are just guessing. I bet nobody that is posting on this site or sending out tweets has any idea. I'm a KU fan and very few "experts" expected Wiggins to go to KU. Tons of leaked info had Randle going to KU and he ended up going to Kentucky. I still think Vaughn ends up at ISU.

Thank you for your insight. Now would all the 13 year old girls who keep changing their minds like the 247 people just remain calm until this weekend?

These so called "experts" could just be flipping back and forth for clicks and follows. We still have a dang good season going on and I'm excited about that. Fred will find a way if Vaughn doesn't choose and the success train will keep rolling!

Same for JP Macura. He was 100% Minnesota crystal ball and chose Xavier (iirc). Most of those predictors know as much as any of us on the subject.

RV would be a huge get and certainly a guy that could have a big impact on the team next season. With that said the ISU team will be very good next season regardless of what RV decides. I definitely would love to see RV pick the Clones because I think it is really in his best interest to do so. If he wants to get even better on his way to the NBA then playing for Fred and ISU is the obvious choice.

I'm always optimistic going into a sporting event in which Iowa State is involved in. I have also learned it is necessary to wear one of these, because it is important to always be prepared for that moment just in case.

Shhh...it's best if everyone here convinces themselves he's going somewhere else.

He moved for Prep school because he wants to play against top competition. Why would he go to UNLV?

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Saturday

If he does pick ISU I really hope Brent Blum or someone writes an article called road to 10,000 posts. It could talk about this threads beginning being about any other possible recruit, to the hype and build up of steam. When everyone switched their avatars and then how CF made a big deal to get 500 posts at the Michigan game. It would cover when people made sure the thread stayed on the main page by talking about stuff almost completely unrelated to RV. And finally when the thread went doom and gloom just days before his announcement.... that would be cool... but if he does go somewhere else lets never mention this thread again lol

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Saturday

aww ****, he capitalized the N after a comma. U *N* LV, you can't tell me that's a coincidence.

What about cycloNeNation? He also has the T capitalized! We have more letters than them!

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Saturday

Go to UNLV, Make some Larry Johnson and Stacy Augman money, Play against Mighty Air Force and Boise State and a bunch of other crap colleges and for a crappy coach. Or... Go to Iowa state. Play in the best league in the country. Play for a top young coach with NBA ties near your family. Hmmm Tough decision. Then again. Not everyone is smart.
