Does seem kind of crazy he would commit to Nebraska before coaching changes are decided. I suppose the AD claims he is behind Pelini. Choose the good guys Terrell!
I don't see why people are so concerned with the safety position. Cotton, Mutcherson, Cotton-Moya, Syrie, Schaeffer, even (hopefully) Rogers. Maybe a True Fr. has the chance to play also? A couple of the guys listed (Cotton, Mutcherson, Shaeffer) might have more talent than you think. They've just been bottled behind solid players like Washington, Broomfield, and Givens for the last few years. I liked the way Cotton played in the spring game, he will come up and hit you.
Hopefully Brackens puts on another 10 pounds and stays at LB. The guy's pass coverage skills are concerning.
NE AD announced yesterday that Pelini's job is secure. My guess is Terrell is the reason that announcement was made.
Because CPR himself said he is looking at JUCO safeties...which means we missed on some kids already in the program or he wants a Jr./Sr. safety back there to lead the group of DB's.
I bet they are shocked because they think they have a much more superior football program. The kNU fans are showing their true colors on twitter
A little Twitter searching can go a long way sometimes. Here ya go...
@Sean_Callahan: Was told Terrell Clinkscales never even informed the Nebraska staff he was de-committing and broke the news to them through Twitter.
@Sean_Callahan: The face of the matter still remains Clinkscale failed two classes last semester and still needs over 30 hours from now to August.
@Sean_Callahan: In those 30+ hours, that includes passing two Algebra classes. To get a AA degree you need over 60 hours. Pretty tall order.
@Sean_Callahan: Think he was probably not happy Nebraska got on him a little bit about his two failed classes he told them he passed.
@Sean_Callahan: An advantage for Clinkscales going to Kansas State is the Kansas JUCOs work hand-and-hand with the two state schools.
@Sean_Callahan: This can make it easier for credit hours to transfer from a Kansas JUCO to K-State or KU.
That is comical
