I don't think they're as bad as many on here thought (particularly to begin the season). They are pounding Mt. St. Mary's now at home and should be 7 - 1 at home coming into our game with only a 2 point loss to LSU on the schedule.

No Big XII road game is easy. If we can go 5 - 4 on the road this year in the Big XII I will be ecstatic! I think 4 - 5 is more likely.

They are 7 and 5. They haven't lost to a bad team, but they haven't beaten a good team. Only one loss was to a ranked team (Arizona) and they lost by 20+. Lost to LSU at home and Pitt neutral with other losses to ASU and Bama.

Yeah no point in spicing up TTU, they are terrible.

Some TTU stats so far this year (National Rank):
PPG: 72.3 (191st)
RBG: 34.7 (225th)
APG: 11.8 (258th)
FG%: 46.4 (100th)
Kenpom SOS: 211

They are not very good. All of that being said, Northern Illinois is still up next tomorrow night. I am FAR more worried about that game than I am TTU, at least until the clock in Hilton reads 0:00 tomorrow night.

Good point.

I don't think Tech is "terrible" though as an earlier poster stated. By that standard more than half of college basketball team's would be "terrible" I suspect. We play them on the road, and I think we'll see a close game. Hope I'm wrong and we blow them out, but a truly "terrible" team would not give ISU a close game.

I couldn't physically be less worried about a game than tomorrow night's.

Is this just classic ISU mentality? Pump up our opponents so if we lose, we feel better about it? No way in hell we should lose to this team. Not saying it isn't possible, we shouldn't have lost to them last year, but no need to make them seem better than they are.

Agreed. They aren't good at all. A must win.

As good as we are, I'm really not worried about a game until maybe @ OU. should b able to get by kansas IF we can put together a full game. Still feel a special season, maybe only dropping 3*in the big 12. @OSU @KU and one let down game somewhere along the way.

I will literally give away all of my possessions and permanently paint myself black and gold if Iowa State loses to Texas Tech in men's basketball tomorrow night. I will bet you $20 that Iowa State does not lose and give you 99999999:1 odds.

Yes. Sometimes we call it respect for the opponent, but a bad team is a bad team.

I don't think tomorrow will be a pretty game, but it sure won't be in doubt.

I wouldn't call Texas Tech a terrible team. They are mediocre at best. Not good. Not bad. Lost to an above average LSU team in Lubbock. That is important to note.

ISU doesn't play TT tomorrow, nor did he say that in any capacity.
