If you would have told me we were getting another Ejim, I would have been happy. Instead we get a super-Ejim. The thing is, we can afford to lose Ejim for foul trouble and not lose a ton of rebounding.

That offensive rebound off the missed free throw was the knife in the back to Boise. Probably won us the game right there.

The way he fights for rebounds are just plain impressive. He goes after rebounds with power and speed, you normally don't get that kind of talent even from PFs and Cs. Wow.

Dude is just a beast. Simply a beast. I haven't seen that much intensity in rebounding at Iowa State since maybe Fizer. Just goes up and says, "See this ball? Yeah this ball is mine."

Kane's just as good on the boards, it's just that he doesn't always end up near the glass.

We have big-time rebounders.

Heard on the post game CFH told everyone to get back and be ready to play defense and Hogue convinced Fred to put him up there and then he gets the rebound....I love that CFH listens to his players.

I told my friends on every Ejim FT that Hogue would have rebounded if Ejim missed as he got inside every attempt. Problem for him was Ejim went 9 for 10.

I'm too lazy to look up the stats but Ejim is much improved at the line this year over 85%, I always thought he was avg at best in years past.

I was thinking the same thing. We've seen sudden improvement shooting the ball like this in the past with Dionte Garrett his senior year as well. Would like to think this kind of shooting improvement is standard under CFH...

Evidence of some hard work done by Melvin. That is pretty impressive.

How many Hogue threads can we have? I'm not complaining he deserves them all....how about Hulk Hoguester!

not bad. i was thinking Dustin ROGUE. used as an adjective though, not the deceitful person.

2. Large, destructive, and anomalous or unpredictable: a rogue wave; a rogue tornado.
3. Operating outside normal or desirable controls

They both had one at a time when we really needed it. Love having these two on the court at the same time.
