Very Early 2/21 Weather Thread

I am so sick of people/schools/the news freaking out about a snowstorm.

It snows, it gets plowed, life goes on. We can't control it so why is there such an intense focus on weather all the time? It seems like over the past 10 years storms have been hyped up so much for nothing it will ruin the meaning of a real storm.

For some odd reason all the men are at work after a big snowstorm but the women can't make it? I get to work the same way whether it snows or there is sun 24/7.

Looks we have a dry slot in the SW Iowa and the snow not even trying to make it in Des Moines as there is dry air to the northeast!!

The explanation I got on that from a KCCI guy was that you can pay to be part of some ranking system and WOI is the only station in our market that pays for it, thus they get that title from that system.
