Hearing from a few people that the game may be moved to Sunday to avoid the severe weather threat. I'm curious if anyone else has heard that and what the likelihood of this happening really is. Talk about a logistical nightmare.

Right now the word is there may be a nice sized gap in the bad weather enough to get the game in.

We'll see if that holds.

Where the heck did you hear that?

The beauty of a game scheduled for 11am is that you have all day to get the game in, if you need to delay.

I could actually see them doing this for public safety. They learned a hug lesson during the Colorado game. I know that game was one of my favorites ever. It was still dangerous.

The problem is, if that gap isn't there at 11... the weather looks to go worse as the day goes on before it gets better.

It wouldnt surprise me if there was some talk of this yesterday before things started looking better. They'll probably continue to evaluate and make a decision as we get closer.

As I said in the other thread though, even in the worst-case scenario (short of Ames being leveled by a tornado) there is nothing in the forecast, nor has their been, to push a delay any later than a standard prime-time start.

This somewhat matches what I was hearing, and I am far from a troll.

I know this is going to be tough for some of you to accept, but not everything you read on the internet is true.
