I'm packing all my belongings tonight in a couple vans and was wondering if anyone knew if it would be okay for a Wii to sit in a van outside for a night. I know it'll be around 20 degrees, but just got it and it's my baby!

Yeah it will be fine, with all electronics, just let them warm up before you power it on. Otherwise it will get hot quick and moisture will condense on it. Just let it sit inside for an hour or so before firing it up.

I would assume when they get shipped, that they sit in the back of a semi in all sorts of weather.
I'd still try to keep it inside, if you could.

It sat in a cold trailer as it was shipped across country to whatever store it purchased at so it will be OK. I mean, geez man, it is a Wii not a hamster.

Should be fine, just cover it with something so no one sees it in the window and steals it!

Thats what I was thinking, but if I break this one, it could be awhile before I get another:smile: I better pack it before I'm tempted to bust it out and play it again.

Wouldn't you kill a hamster for a Wii? :)

Im sure itll be fine, but you can try to insulate it in a couple blankets or something to keep it from getting too cold.

Cold does not matter to electronics. You are fine. Alkaline batteries will freeze when it gets below 0, but that is about the only electronic thing you have to worry about in the cold weather.

Sure Brian. Just ignore the little battery that runs the BIOS :p
