For some reason, I can't connect on my phone. What does this say?

Thanks in advance.

Matt Thomas got cleared by the NCAA to play this year...

Accusation of being too awesome confirmed, but further action was deemed unnecessary.

Thanks Doc. I read your previous post as if the ***** at UNC was sniffing.

Ah, my bad. I see how it would come across that way. No, that was just Roy Williams paranoia coming through. It was simply somebody asking Bossi if Thomas would move up...answer, "Yes!".

And every time I try to rep you, it says I must spread more rep. This is a big problem.

This kid is looking like he may have the green light from day one.

Most of Freds guys do. This guy definitely will. He doesn't want his players being afraid to shoot because coach might take them out. He will take them out if they pass up a good shot and don't shoot. Is what I recall Fred saying....So ya, he's got the green light.

I agree that we shouldn't panic. We will undoubtedly take big(s) with the '13 class. However the fact that we took 3 guards and 1 post with the '12 class, and that our top priorities (and first two commits) of '13 are guards, it has people curious as to the staff's philosophy.

Now, I don't agree that we "2 years out before we have to be concerned about it in the least." After Booker graduates, we'll have Ejim (6'-6"), Niang (6'-7") and Gibson (6'-9") to play two spots. That's not much depth. We'll need (and get) more depth for the '13-'14 season.

I'm not saying that we done need one or two. My point is that, as least as starters go, I think we're pretty well set for the next 3 years. Thus I don't think we even need great players in this class, we can take a couple of developmental guys.

I'm giving Fred the benefit of the doubt on bigs. Clearly he has a vision of what he wants his backcourt to look like. Since he's a transfer wizard, I'm kind I wondering if he goes that route with one or two low-post workhorses.

If CFH lands just one top 100 big, though, I think Fanatic will explode. Not sure any processor would be able to handle the all the !!!!!!!!!'s that would follow.

Way up there
I'm not worried about bigs just yet, we've got 3 quality guys in the post for atleast the next 2 seasons. I wouldn't mind going the juco/transfer route to replace Booker after this year though.

I think the transfer thing is largely over. That was just for an instant infusion of talent. We're not seeing the transfers come here this year.

Can you say Mizzou? 5 out open post. I think they had some success with this...

Worst case scenario we don't get a big...we are loaded at the 1-4 position. Fred has shown the ability to adapt his style both years to his personnel. Everything will work out.
