Not sure if any of you saw this, but it makes me laugh every time I've seen it.

I know that there are a lot of Seinfeld fans on the board.

Seriously, who doesn't know this about Seinfeld.

I can't tell if Jerry is joking a bit. Larry obviously gets a little annoyed. I think Jerry is seriously angry that Larry thought he was canceled.

Yeah, I think Jerry was a little irritated.

My favorite is "Can we get a resume in here for Larry to look at?"
Larry was a little irked by that time. I'd love to see what happened when it wen to break.

Jerry Seinfeld is a distinctly average comedian, in my opinion. The vast majority of what made Seinfeld a funny show was Larry David. Without him, there's no Kramer, George or Elaine, and you've got a very mediocre show.

Wow. Completely disagree with you. All of his standup is so simple and funny. Most of the time he'll bring up a point where I say "Wow, it's so true and I never thought of it." He can be funny without being very vulgar or really gross. He's one of the best I've ever seen.

He's a very average comedian, IMO, though. I've heard most of his stuff, and it's pretty pedestrian.

He would have been nothing without the TV show, and the TV show would have been nothing without Larry David.

When Larry David left the show, the show tanked. It was time to end it.

I have seen Seinfeld do his stand-up at the Civic Center and thought it was good stuff.

I like Seinfelds stand up, but agree with he is far from my favorite comedian. It may just be my taste in comedy though. For me the show made him better then just his standup alone.

I should say that I did find him funny, don't get me wrong. I laughed at some of his stuff, but he's not even in my top 25 or so. You'd have to be a pretty awful comedian to not have people laugh at you. He's a one trick pony, though.

You have a top 25? Wow, I need to watch more comedians, I think I can only name about 10 that I like.

You will lose all credibility if you mention Dane Cook. Unless it's along the lines of "Who in the world thinks this guys is funny?"

3 top comics (in my opinion) Not necessarily the best ever, or even the best now, but 3 guys who consistently make me laugh.

Eddie Izzard
Mike Birbiglia
Jim Gaffigan

Pryor, Carlin, Martin, Cosby, Dangerfield, Newhart (highly underrated, IMO), Louis CK (who I was fortunate enough to see last week in Cedar Rapids. Absolutely hilarious), Jonathon Winters, Andy Kaufman, Denis Leary, Billy Connolly, Norm MacDonald, Bob Saget, David Cross, Brian Posehn, Zach Galifianakis, Patton Oswalt Jim Breuer, Dane Cook (his material is kinda garbage, but he's got a great stage presence), Gilbert Gottfried, Lisa Lampanelli etc. etc. etc.

I'd watch any of those guys/girls way WAY before I'd sit down to watch Seinfeld.

Love Birbigs. Very funny.

What I SHOULD have said, was "nothing." What I DID say, was "You'd be surprised!"

Many of my friends think that Dane Cook is hilarious, thats about when I start feeling the urge to commit acts of violence, that or find friends with better taste:biglaugh:

Eddie Izzard kills me. The other two are very funny as well. I think Chris Porter will start to gain some momentum in the next few years as well.

Those are two of my favorites. I would have loved to have seen them when they toured together.

Have you ever seen the Lisa Lampenelli specials after midnight on Comedy Central. They make me laugh, but make me cringe at the same time.

I'll second whoever mentioned Newhart, if I'm going on a long trip I pop in a CD or two of his routine to pass the time, very funny stuff.
