Fred supposedly recruited him vigorously before and I doubt there is nothing to have changed Fred's opinion of him. When Uthoff committed to Wisky, I thought it was a lousy fit for him and maybe now he has realized it.
Yes, but Fred's team and needs may have changed since then.

Honestly, I think he'd fit a need. Would give us a good post player with 3 years of eligibility. After next year, all we have in the post is Gibson and Niang and Ejim if he stays at the 4 for his senior year.

If I was him I would go Juco and play a year then evaluate options after that. It seems sitting out two years straight would be difficult.

I love the pedigree, but would young Mr. Uthoff bring more to the table than a Jordan Railey did? btw, anyone know his reasons for leaving UW?

He sees himself behind Sam Dekker for three years. Probably that simple.

He seems to fit a Wisconsin, UNI style of play better. And if he doesn't think he can play much at Wisconsin then why should we take him on?

Where did you hear that? Sounds like Wisconsin's coaches expected him to play and are angry he is transferring.
