The people above Paterno have some major questions to answer. Obviously, Paterno probably does too since he is in charge of the football program and that's where the assaults occurred.

Once nothing had happened with the authorities, Paterno should have pushed the issue. The guy has more power than anyone else involved. He could have and should have done more.

The worst part of this whole thing is that these are the ones that were found. This guy has adopted children too. What a sick ****.

8 victims is pretty smoking gun type evidence imo. This isn't one person making this claim. 8 victims and at least one other that said Sandusky was making advances on him while him and a victim were at a game with Sandusky.

I was looking over on a Penn State fan site and a poster there brought up there were questions about something like this happening in 1998 and Joe asked him to step down. Hasn't worked at Penn State since 1999 but he was allowed access to all the facilities because of the position he held with that youth program Second Mile.

Over on GameFAQs and Reddit, PSU fans are very upset and saddened that this happened. Most seem to want a ton of changes and clearing out.

Recruiting violations are one thing to cover up. But this is wrong on deeper moral levels.

I'm sure it is procedure but it really look bad and I would think it could open the university as a whole to civil lawsuits.

I agree Joe Pa was not clean in this. He is in charge. My hope is the University lets him exit and save face. Then they clean house. The one place I thought KF would leave for is Penn State. I have no reason why but I thought that job would be his someday.
It would not break my heart to see KF leave Iowa.

This is very disturbing. Anyone that had any knowledge of this should be prosecuted. 10+ years have gone by since some of these incidents happened and with people having knowledge of his abuse, and they are just now prosecuting him? Anyone who didn't call authorities right away is guilty also. Wouldn't that be the first thing any of us would do, is call the police? He should have been in jail within an hour after the graduate assistant found him raping a little boy in the locker room. That guy is guilty also. Child molesters need to be castrated and have a tattoo placed on their forehead that says ''Child Raper.'' This guy won't last long in prison.

Why would he leave to jump into this mess in the dept, especially when he's making 4mil with zero pressure on him at all, with a contract til 2020?

Wouldnt surprise me if this is what gets JoePa out though, a lot of fans have wanted him out for some time.

Save face? He had knowledge that a friend and former colleague was having sexual encounters with children and didn't call authorities. He is a poor excuse of a human being. If you knew someone was raping a child, would you call the police or would you call your boss? Come on. It wouldn't matter who or where the incident occurred, you wouldn't call your boss before authorities.

Wow, didn't know about this until today and I read that whole report. I think if I were the parent's of any of these kids I would be in jail right now for murder. What type of people don't report things like this?
