Cubs go down in flames, and we all get to watch the trainwreck. The playoffs are so much more interesting if the cubs are there.

Indians are 0-6 versus the Yankee this year.

Very true. Being a Yanks fan I hope for #27. Truthfully, I think it will be the Angels. They are just a solid team and I think Scoscia is a tough beat in the playoffs, plus the Yanks have a tough time with the Angels. I don't think the WS is going to the NL even by a miracle.

I heard Bartman will be at all of the Cubs games with his pet goat....

I love the Cubs and I'm realistic that they are not going to make it all the way this year, but why all the Hate for the Cubs? Can't you redirect some of that spite for the Old Gold and white?

Just like last year right?

Touche.

Just seems like the NL being represented by the Rockies, the Flubs, and the Phils doesn't really stand a chance. Maybe Howard strikes out 20 more times in the first round though.....

I love it when people hate on the Cubs. It means they did something right.

How do you vote against the Cubbies?! Jayson Stark has a good article up on ESPN where he predicts the Cubs to win it all by coming up w/ reasons why every other team won't win it. In the end he says why not the Cubs, there's no way the baseball gods let a single franchise go w/o a championship for a century.

I'll root for the Cubs and hope for the best. The Rockies are red hot right now so they have a good shot too I think. I think the 1 thing the Cubs have is good pitching depth. If the offense can continue to score runs like they did in September they are going to be a tough team for anyone to play.

If the cubs have a chance to close the WS in Chicago you better believe my arse will be in Wrigleyville. Me and a million of my closest friends, ponder that!

I friend of mine bought tickets to the D-backs v Cubs game in PHX (cubs fan) the Monday and said when he bought them there was about 20,000 available, as of last night still around 10k available. That is sad, at least it will be mostly cubs fan in attendence.

How can you not pick a team that was outscored by 20 runs this season and still had the best record in the NL?

Go D-BACKS!
