This is good news. I will be shocked if he plays in another game this year though.
It is tough to sit for 3 months and instantly be ready for full speed gameplay.
At this point, I'm just hoping that his career isn't over.

Might be true, but the question will come down to how fast that he can get his timing back against live pitching. It's not like that he hasn't swung a bat until today, but rather a situation where he worked out with the team today. He has been hitting off a tee and taking BP on his own for most of the time that he has been out. I'm guessing that the plan is to have him available as a bat off the bench in the ACLS and then back in the lineup if they advance to the WS.

If nothing else, I'm just glad his headaches are beginning to clear up. I've had migraines before - I couldn't imagine having them every single day for 3 months.
