Nice job everyone! Never feel bad about giving at the lowest level - at least you are giving. For me Cyclone sports are my hobby and if it is your hobby start putting money behind your hobby. I think JP used TAM as an example one time where they have a ton of people at the lowest level and that is where the bulk of their donations come from not from the wealthy but from the average fan supporting their program.

I just ordered 10 tickets to the KC game. Hopefully I can round up enough buddies to make the 6 hour trip with me. I only have 4 of the tickets spoken for.

Back in '04 I could get 3 cases for that much coin at the Keg Shop.

When I was a student it used to be HyVee for $2.99 12 packs of Busch Light...Then off to Rocky Roccoco for $2 pitchers, except for Friday's, which of course was 2/$5 fishbowls at People's.

Ok, here's my hesitation. I absolutely HATE solicitation. Those of you who are donors: do you get crap-mail, phone calls from begging students, and people crying for money at your front door?? If the answer is even slightly yes, then I refuse to donate. I'll continue to contribute by going to as many games as possible. (from out of state)

I have never had them call me because of my donation(s)......as a donor, i can't really say that they even bother me. only mail i receive is the packet and info on matching from my employer. before my wife was listed on our donations, see got calls, quite often. no longer the case. we could be an exception...but in the case of locking you in as a donor.....i hope it is the norm.

I have never gotten a call over the past few years. I know my parents have gotten a call or two from the Alumni Foundation requesting me but never NCC....and NOBODY is showing up at my door in Tampa!

That's $6/case for BL smoothy? The crazy part is that a decade later, you were paying $1 more.

Those bar prices are pretty damn awesome though.

I agree. My favorite was FAC at Peppers when they had qurter draws and then to really get the night going, the $5 you call it pitchers at element. Wow I had some tough Saturday mornings.
