No wonder the Big 12 hates ISU.

Who drinks Dr Pepper? No one in Iowa, it's a Texas thing. I have never bought Dr Pepper in my Life, nor do I know "a LIVING BODY" who drinks Dr Pepper. I'm sure its a great product, I just have never given it a try.

Chic Fillet? Is there even a store in Iowa? They are all over the South and I love them when I travel down there, but I'm not dying for Chic Fillet when I come back to Iowa.

What other Big 12 Sponsers have absolutely ZERO sales in Iowa?

I see at least one person on campus a day with a Dr. Pepper in hand. Why would stores carry it in Iowa if no one drank it?

And "Chick-fil-A" or chic fillet [sic] has a presence on the east side of the state.

Iowa City and Davenport have Chick-fil-a. Whataburger is awesome but those are only in the deep south.

Oh yeah, just remembered...

There's a Chick-fil-A at Jordon Creek in Des Moines, IA of all places. And there use to be one on the actual campus of Iowa State University.

It seems like Dr Pepper is better from the southern bottlers... Dublin Dr. Pepper (made w\ sugar, not corn) is much, much better than normal. But theres still decent sales of it up here.

Chick fil a has a location in the jordan creek town center. Wish they'd open up a standalone location though, itd be much easier to swing through a drive through.

There used to be a Chick-fil-a in the MU's cafeteria, too. 1996-2000ish? I used to get sandwiches from them and go eat in the M-Shop.

It closed in 2004 due to ISU Dining requiring a large share of all purchases made using Dining Dollars.

You forgot Phillips 66. I pay an extra cent or two if my gas station choices are between Phillips 66 and anything else.

I just moved to Bettendorf a few months ago and noticed a Chick-Fil-A on 53rd near the ****'s Sporting Goods store. That said what can you expect when the conference offices are in Dallas? I'm surprised Sonic isn't involved somehow. But I'm more upset over the scheduling (OU and UT in the same year) than I am about what companies give the conference money.

There is a chick fil a in Sioux city, and there was one in the MU when I was in school.

Also I knew a lot of Iowans who drank Dr. Pepper.
