Momo Challenge - Parents beware

Not trying to scare anyone, but was made aware of this on social media earlier. I am not a parent, but one day hope to be. This type of stuff scares me, but if you haven’t heard of this momo challenge, it’s a Japanese character that was created by someone to use scare tactics and discreetly get your kid to do challenges through YouTube kids. Your kid wouldn’t or won’t make you aware when they supposedly have nightmares or act out because it says it'll kill them or the parents. This thing makes challenges through the app called WhatsApp and makes them document those challenges through the app with pictures. This could put you or them at harm. I only share this YouTube video with good intentions as to spread awareness in disbelief as to why any sane human would make this.

Here is a video explaining it through a news story sort of way.

Teams Youd Prefer to Avoid/See in NCAA Tournament

We are nearing the end of the regular season here and all prognostications here have Iowa State as a 4 or 5 seed. I could potentially see us rise to a 3 seed if we get hot down the stretch and potentially fall to a 6 seed if we stumble.

Put me in the camp of wanting to avoid Wisconsin in the tournament in a potential 4/5 second round game. They play so slow and Happ in the paint could spell trouble for us.

Possible Nightmare Scenario

I am already dreading this possible scenario:

1) K-St. goes 2-1 in its last 3 games and finishes 13-5. Possible.
2) KU wins its last 3 games and finishes 13-5. Likely.
3) TTech wins its next 3 games and comes into Hilton for its final game at 13-4. Likely.

4) If ISU beats TTech, KU continues the conference title win streak.

Obviously I want the Clones to beat a top 10 team, which can only help their tourney seeding. But I just don't like the thought of their win aiding KU's streak.

Athletic Subscription

Thinking about getting a subscription to the athletic. Follow ISU football and basketball the closest as well as cubs and packers content. Is it worth it for those who have it? And what do you primarily read if you do have it?

Sorry if another thread exists on this topic.

WrestleStat Rankings - Final Regular Season - 2018-2019

The final regular season rankings have been generated.

Wrestler Rankings: https://www.wrestlestat.com/rankings/starters

Dual Rankings: https://www.wrestlestat.com/rankings/dual

Tournament Rankings: https://www.wrestlestat.com/rankings/tournament

Redshirt Rankings: https://www.wrestlestat.com/rankings/redshirts

Also, I made some adjustments to the RPI rankings to follow closer what the actual formula uses. It is as close to the real thing as we can get, without the NCAA telling us what the real formula is...

RPI Rankings: https://www.wrestlestat.com/rankings/rpi

The stage is set for ..........

......the showdown in Austin for 2nd place in the league. I was very confident that BU would take care of the Horns in Waco tonight, but I've learned not to count my hatches before they chicken. But the beat down did occur in Waco and now there is a 3-way tie for second. Beat the Horns and it's there for the taking.

Now whatever they do, please don't show up in Lubbock tomorrow night and lay a big omelet there. Tech is playing better this year overall. They've got 3 conference wins and came within an inch of getting 3 more. So respect the adversary and get the business done. Then on to Austin. If the creeks don't rise I plan to go down to that game. Maybe I will see you there?

Favorite Animated Movies

Animated movies encompass such a wide range anymore, I thought it would be interesting to get a discussion going on CF's favorites. Having kids will likely affect how many you have seen, but I'd like to keep it open to all styles (old-school Disney animation, computer animation, stop-motion, anime, etc)

I'll throw out my Top 10, but it's razor thin on some of these rankings:

1. How To Train Your Dragon
2. Big Hero 6
3. Incredibles
4. Wreck-It Ralph
5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
6. Toy Story
7. Aladdin
8. Tangled
9. Frozen
10. Lion King

Just missed: Up, Finding Nemo, Wall-E, Shrek

Underrated: Kubo and the Two Strings, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Arthur Christmas
