I bought tickets yesterday and it looks there are still plenty available.
I think there are a number of people going from the Portland area, there is a Facebook group for the Iowa State Alumni of Portland. Below is a link to the OSU ticket website and a promo code, I think they are sitting in a group.

We're driving from Vancouver Washington and leaving fairly early in the morning to get a look at Corvallis and OSU.
For what it's worth, there are a lot more tickets available on stubhub, with much better seats, though more expensive.
Be aware that they are giving away a free pair of tickets to "military" who ask for them.

I have a feeling they are having trouble filling up their arena.
