No. 16 ISU dodges "rabbit holes" as it seeks first Cy-Hawk win at home since 2011

PayPal sent me a credit card I didn't request

I got a notification that PayPal was sending me a credit card. In case it was a scam, I went directly to their website instead of clicking on any links, and they are in fact sending me a PayPal Mastercard. Problem is, I didn't request one. I had a PayPal credit account, but did not have and did not want another physical Mastercard. When I contacted their customer service to ask why they were sending a card I didn't request, they said they couldn't help and referred me to Synchrony. Anyone else experienced anything similar?

Friday OT #2 - My Cyclones Lie Over the Ocean…

I don’t think I’ve done a Friday OT since the Ireland trip, so this is retro!

For most of us who attended, I think the Ireland game is the furthest we’ve ever traveled for a game! For me prior to that, the furthest I have traveled was for the UNLV game the first time we went over there, circa 2004.

What is the furthest you have traveled for a game? What game/sport/team?

ISU vs. Miss. St. at Sanford Pentagon

Some tickets still left, but most sold out within an hour. But, the reason I'm posting is to ask if anyone knows what time they might tip. I know it's a part of the all-day basketball (I assume), but would hope we have a late afternoon/evening game.

I'm guessing we have a huge number of fans traveling up for it. I was at the Colorado game back in 2015, and it was a fun venue for that. Not really a bad seat, though the end line bleachers are NOT comfortable.

2025 College Football TV Ratings

A monster weekend for college football. Texas-OSU had a massive 16 million viewers.

Slightly surprised but shows the power of Fox, ISU-South Dakota was the third most watched college football game last Saturday with over 3 million viewers. ISU-K-State was only 4 million in Week 0.

Tom Fornelli is a clown

A so called expert on college football for CBS Sports went on a national podcast last week and said he is still picking Kansas State to represent the Big 12 in the college football playoff. Also stated that he believes Kansas State is better than Iowa State and played better than Iowa State in Ireland, imploring the show hosts to go back and watch the tape. What in the actual **** does Iowa State have to do to get positive national notoriety?

The beat reporters then move on to talk about the Cy-Hawk game and where Iowa State has both advantages and question marks as they look to end a 14-year drought against Iowa at home. All this and more presented by Kelderman Manufacturing.

On That Note: Us and Them

With a nod to CyHawk rivalry week, for this segment we explore songs with titles containing the words we, us and them. As an extension, we’re and we’ll are OK, too.

Also accepted: songs whose first lyric is “we.” That applies ONLY to the first sung word.

On That Note is presented each week on Cyclone Fanatic by @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and cyclones500.
One to get us going, starting with a "we" sample, no specific reason for my choice. I think it's a bit underrated within RS discography.
