NFL: 2025 Redzone Channel to include commercials

- Someone creates a service that provides something people want

- Service becomes popular

- Big business acquires the popular service and proceeds to change it in order to wring every possible dollar out of its customers

- Service becomes a crappy shadow of its former self that’s somehow also more expensive

- Big business moves on to the next popular thing

Capitalism, baby!

Not that I watched much anyways, but I’m done with Redzone now. Too many other entertainment options out there that don’t bombard you with the same beer, truck, and insurance ads until you go insane.

Hey, now, we need to see that Meghan Trainor ad with Mahomes another 68,947 times before we get tired of it

Commercials already make the games borderline unwatchable, might as well throw this in there too.

I can't watch sports now without having the DVR recording the proceedings, starting a basketball game ~45 minutes late and a football game ~75 minutes late, avoiding my phone, and then paging my way through the breaks (save maybe halftime to take a break) before catching up to "real-time" late in the game. Taking back a bit of extra time when I have a full-time job, a house, too many pets, and kids is so nice.
