Latest bowl picks

On the plus side they don’t have ISU in the godforsaken Liberty Bowl again! Lol

*** 2025 College Football Survivor Week 9 ***

A reminder regarding tiebreaker points: If your team wins and covers you gain an extra bonus point. If you take a undefeated team who is the underdog you gain the point for them covering plus another bonus point. As the season goes on the number of teams undefeated being a underdog greatly diminish so take advantage while you can.

Taking a double digit underdog who wins gets you 3 bonus points

3 teams plays 2 FBS in this time period Fresno St. Hawaii and and Sam Houston State. If you take them before their first game they will need to win twice for you to advance.

I will be using ESPN's Lines. Line will be the line at kickoff for tiebreaker points.

Bringing back the reward for top finisher other than bragging rights. Since this is a contest on Cyclone Fanatic I like the idea of the reward going back to helping ISU athletics.
For the top 3 CYCLONE Fan finishers (Hawks fans are as always are welcome to play but this is a contest on a Cyclone fan board) I will donate $75, $50 and $25 to @brentblum and We Will on your behalf.

Randy Peterson Bye Week Column: 11 teams still have a chance to win the crazy Big 12

Fresh Randy Peterson column for your Sunday! Enjoy!

*** BYU Pregame Thread ***

Alright time to end this losing streak! Have a great opportunity to face an undefeated #11 ranked team coming into Jack Trice. Do like the spot for the Cyclones coming off a bye and having 2 weeks to prepare/heal up for the Cougars. BYU coming off a win versus their biggest rival/national spotlight with Big Noon Kickoff on campus, etc. Letdown spot for them?

TV: 2:30 pm on FOX

FanDuel & DraftKings both currently have us as a 2.5 point favorite.

**** Texas Tech lmao

After b!tching and moaning the past two days about how the whole conference is out to get them because they got told they can't throw tortillas into the field during a live game and that they should just accept the phantom SEC offer they hilariously think they have it's just nice to see karma work every once in a while.

Just say no to going 6-0 with a oil sugar daddy. It's a gateway drug to thinking you're hot sh!t Texas lite.

While on destination retirement trip to Sweden this summer, I joined the ISOF

ISOF
International Society of Flatworkers

Flatwork is what a retired man does during the day. What he does is to lay down and closes his eyes for a while.

While in Sweden, my brother in law, Jay Stackhouse said when he retired that his brother, John told of the need to do flatwork. Jay asked what is flatwork is and John explained it to him. We then decided that there needs to be a group to pass this very important message. So we came up with the name Society of Flatworkers (SOF). My wife’s second cousin Håkan Olsson was listening to us and wanted to join, hence the International Society of Flatworks (ISOF) was born.

John Stackhouse discovered the idea of flatwork when retiring in 2020 during the Covid pandemic. Just like law of gravity was always there, Newton discovered how to explained the idea. Flatwork has always existed.

Rule#1- There are no meetings or fees and the only requirement is to try to do flatwork, daily .
#2- There are no more rules.

Member since 20xx (year of retirement)

1st Letter to the Swedes on Flatwork Proverbs (while we were exiled in Denmark, we flew out out Copenhagen)

1-It is never too early in the day to do flatwork.
2-If flatwork is not possible, try to do benchwork.
3-Flatworkers do not go on vacation, they go on trips.
4-Women take naps, men do flatwork.
5-Quoting Winston Churchill: Conservation of energy, why stand when you can sit, and why sit when you can lay down.

2nd letter to the Swedes

1-A good flatworker makes the bed so that he has accomplished something for the day.
2-Watching sports especially golf, soccerball, or NASCAR on TV helps the mood for benchwork.
3-It is good to do flatwork after doing yard work.

FIT (Flatworkers In Training)-For those men who have not yet retired.
