RECRUITING: ’26 TE Isaac Jensen says he’ll look for what he saw at ISU in future visits

Isaac Jensen, a priority tight end target for Iowa State in the 2026 recruiting class, was on campus last weekend for a visit for his first of the summer.

The Cyclones, who have have a pair of Jensen’s high school teammates committed, are hoping they stood out.

“I’m looking to see what I saw at Iowa State,” Jensen told NebPreps on what he was looking for on his Missouri visit.

See the full interview here.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound prospect has other visits scheduled to Missouri (June 6), Florida State (June 13), and Texas A&M (June 20).

He had good things to say about his time in Ames.

“It was great,” Jensen said. “My family loved it and I loved it. The thing I liked the most was spending time with the tight ends and seeing what a weekend in there shoes is like, and seeing how I’d fit in.”

Along with his Millard South High School teammates, Iowa State has been circling the wagons in Nebraska on the recruiting trail, securing commitments from six of the state’s top nine prospects in the 2026 class.

A commitment from Jensen would make it seven.

“Obviously it’d be pretty cool to play with Jett and AJ and live with them, but I’m just going to do what’s best for me and if it is, then it is, but if it’s not, I’m not going to put myself into a position to not succeed.”
