Kelsey Joens became the latest Cyclone to enter the transfer portal from the 2024-25 women’s basketball team.

The news was first reported by Talia Goodman and can be confirmed by CycloneFanatic. Joens departs the program after two seasons with the Cyclones.

Joens joins fellow guard Lily Hansford as departures of the program this off-season.

In the past year, the Iowa City native averaged 5.0 points and 2.9 rebounds per game while appearing in 35 games for the team.

Joens will have two seasons of eligibility left in her career.
