Stevo Klotz has been signed on an undrafted free agent deal by the Los Angeles Chargers, the team announced Saturday.
Klotz spent five seasons in an Iowa State uniform, and made 12 starts in the Cyclones’ 11-3 season that ended with a Pop-Tarts Bowl win.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder was the recipient of the Nick Bassett Perseverance Award in 2024, and was named to the All-Big 12 second team in both of his final two seasons.
Over his final year, Klotz finished with eight receptions for 89 yards, including a touchdown in Iowa State’s win over Cincinnati.
After starting his career as a walk-on, Klotz was placed on scholarship in 2023, and finished his career with 149 yards on 15 receptions with two touchdowns.
