Myles Purchase has been signed to an undrafted free agent deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, the team announced Saturday.
Purchase becomes the second former Cyclone to sign with Los Angeles, joining Stevo Klotz in the blue and gold colors.
The 5-foot-11, 205-pounder spent four seasons with the Cyclones, where he appeared in 52 games (top 10 all-time in program history), and earned 146 tackles, 11.5 TFL’s, 26 pass breakups, an interception and a fumble recovery.
The fumble recovery and the interception each came during his final year in Ames, where the Cyclones would finish 11-3, make a trip to the Big 12 championship game and win the Pop-Tarts Bowl.
