Former Cyclone Mike Rose has been signed by the NFL’s New Orleans Saints after a workout he had with the team.
Rose played in his second season with the St. Louis Battlehawks over the summer.
In his two years with St. Louis, Rose totaled 35 and 45 tackles, respectively, and collected two interceptions for the team this season.
Rose was last in the NFL when he spent a portion of 2023 as a member of the Miami Dolphins practice squad and was with the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in 2022.
He becomes one the 20th Cyclone to secure a spot on a NFL roster going into the 2024 preseason.
The Saints open preseason play on Saturday night on the road against Arizona (7:00 p.m.).
