Former Cyclone Mike Rose is getting a workout with the NFL’s New Orleans Saints, an NFL Twitter account reported on this week.

Rose was a standout for the UFL’s St. Louis Battlehawks during the previous two seasons with the team, coached by Anthony Becht.
In his two years with St. Louis, Rose totaled 35 and 45 tackles, respectively, and collected two interceptions for the team this season.
Rose spent a portion of 2023 as a member of the Miami Dolphins practice squad and was with the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in 2022.
The Saints open preseason play on Saturday night on the road against Arizona (7:00 p.m.).
