Cyclones in Paris: Bridget Carleton ties Olympics single-game 3-point record

Former Cyclone Bridget Carleton tied the Canada single-game record for 3-pointers in Olympic action Thursday, though it wasn’t enough to push her team past Australia.

Team Canada was handed its second loss of the tournament, being downed by Australia 70-65.

Carleton dropped five 3-pointers in the game, totaling 19 points on the day.

The former Cyclone added eight rebounds, four assists and three steals, as well, but the loss will knock Team Canada out of contention to advance to the bracketed round.

Canada will wrap up its Olympic action against Nigeria on Sunday.
