Former Cyclone Monte Morris is set to sign with the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, according to report from Shams Charania.
The terms of the deal have yet to be released, but it finds Morris heading to his fifth team entering his eighth season in the league.
Over his career, Morris has averaged 10 points and 3.8 assists per game (to just 0.8 turnovers per game) in 375 games played.
Last season, the Michigan native shot 46 percent from the field on catch-and-shoot 3-pointers while battling back from an injury with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Phoenix made the NBA Playoffs over the past season before ultimately being swept by Minnesota in the first round, following three straight years of trips to the conference finals in the immediate years prior.
