Iowa State has unveiled its new football uniforms in a video posted by the program on social media Wednesday.
The uniforms were teased on April Fools Day, which prompted the caption ‘Ain’t no joke,’ used in the video.

The jerseys welcomed the return of shoulder striping to Iowa State uniforms for the first time since 2017, which was anticipated following the April Fools post teasing the new look.

Other changes include the return of “Iowa State,” to the uniform’s chest, as well as gold pants, which were not previously in the rotation since the 2018 redesign.

Now, the post teasing the look in April included a fourth picture of what could be an unreleased fourth jersey to go with the look.
That fourth jersey didn’t come out with Wednesday’s reveal, but it wouldn’t be the first time Iowa State has saved a new look for its on-field debut.
